Our deep appreciation for Mexico, their generous and humble people & delicious food began in 1986 on our Honeymoon in Puerta Vallarta & Mazatlan and continued while living in Southern California and vacationing in Mexico every chance we got. After our arrival in St. Augustine in 2005 we began our search for a restaurant that served what we consider to be authentic Baja California style Mexican food. After coming to the realization that such a place did not exist here, we decided to put our recipes to good use and open our Café for Mexican Dinners. Such was the birth of Fiesta Fridays. MEAT CHOICES
Our Meat is very flavorful but not spicy hot unless you add Salsa & Hot Sauce. So don’t worry! You control the heat.
SHREDDED BEEF
Also referred to as “Mexican Pot Roast” we slow cook Chuck Roast in a special blend of Spices, Sofrito & Tomato Sauce.
GROUND BEEF
This is the Americanized “Gringo” version of Taco Meat, seasoned with spices such as Chili Powder.
SHREDDED PORK
Known as “Carnitas” we slow cook Pork Roast with Garlic, Citrus and seasonings including Cumin & Oregano. It’s the Mexican version of Pulled Pork. Try it—You’ll like it!
CHICKEN
Boneless, Skinless Chicken Breast marinated, baked & seasoned with Recaito (A Cilantro-based seasoning) and other spices.
